The EM Test LD200N simulates a sudden battery disconnection (e.g. by corrosion) from the alternator. The LD200N includes everything necessary to conduct fully compliant tests. It generates the required high energy pulses as required by ISO 7637 and many other international and car manufacturer requirements discharging an energy storage capacitor into a passive pulseforming network.

The LD200N is a standalone tester including a 60V/30A DC coupling/decoupling network but still can easily be integrated into the 19" rack as seen in the above photos including The UCS200N50 (Item 593), VDS200N30 (Item 594), LD200N (Item 595) and the Autowave (Item 596) to cover automotive transients including VM and ISO 7637 standards along with Def Stan 61-5 requirements. 

The equipment can be either used locally or controlled via a test laptop (Item 597).
