The FEM-310 is a Tripod Mount. The FEM-310 is manufactured from non-conductive material to minimise RF influence.

The extender is 63cm long and 10cm wide. It has a ⅝ Inch UNC(f) socket at one end to secure onto a tripod or any device with a 5/8 Inch UNC(m) stud and a ¼ Inch UNC stud vertically at the other end. The extender mount allows horizontal extensions on to all base plates so that biconical antennas could be swiveled through 90 degrees into the vertical polarization without the cones striking the tripod legs.
