Static Dissipation Brush

The Conformity Assessment Business Static Dissipation Brush is designed to meet section 7.2.4.1 of EN 61000-4-2:2009. It is used to dissipate charge on ungrounded equipment during testing.

The brush is applied to the equipment under test between successive discharges, preventing charge build-up and avoiding the risk of over testing. The carbon brush is supplied with a 2m silicone cable that incorporates the required discharge resistors.

Constructed using pure carbon fibre filaments, the brush provides a far superior dissipation profile compared to coated nylon brushes. This ensures that even minimal contact with the EUT results in full discharge.

The brush is supplied with two banana to 5mm ring terminal adaptors and comes in a durable hard plastic storage case.
