The EMC Partner VAR-EXT1000 External Variac in conjuction with the EMC Partner IMU4000 Mainframe simulates abnormalities of either mains or DC supplies, called power supply Dips, Interrupts or Variations. It fulfils all requirements of the IEC basic standards: a. 61000-4-29 Ed. 1, DC dips and interrupts, for which you will need two of your own external DC supplies and b. 61000-4-11 Ed. 2, AC mains dips, interrupts and variations.
