Conducted Emissions (CE) testing is used to evaluate an electronic devices electromagnetic compatibility with an 'victim' device which may share a power supply or have harnesses running in close proximity. Unintentional voltages or currents which are by-products of the EUT’s electronic architecture are required not to exceed a specified amplitude. There are a number of different methods and limits used to assess an devices Conducted Emissions performance, this will depend on the environment and functionality of the device.
EMC Hire offer different test systems which meet a number of different standards and test methods. A typical CE test system includes an Analyser / Receiver, Transient Limiter, Pre-Amplifier, Attenuator, RF Cable, as well as a measurement device suited to the applicable standard. The measurement device can be a LISN, Current Probe / Clamp, depending on the standard.
EMC Hire engineers will select equipment based on the customer's needs, so please provide as much information as possible (e.g. applicable standard, test limits, etc.).
A laptop containing RadiMation test software is included in the system, which will be preloaded with the appropriate test configurations including factors. A software operating procedure is also included to guide you through using the software as well as set-up photos to help you assemble the equipment.
We invite you to visit our facility for a demonstration and training, or EMC Hire can provide an engineer to set up the system at your location if necessary or provide remote assistance via Teamviewer or Teams.
