The Narda IDA-3106 is a hand-held Interference Analyser utilised for accurately measuring electrical field strength. The IDA-3106 includes a spectrum display with extremely fast measuring speed and other operating modes including Channel Power, Level Meter and Time Domain. The IDA-3106 analyser features a wide range of diagnostic tools for detailed analysis of disturbance signals. The IDA-3106 is not supplied with with any antennas, however, any of our hireable antennas are configurable with the IDA which allows correction factors to be input for accurate and reliable measurements.
Where would this be used? The Narda IDA-3106 would typically be used for Radiated Emissions testing. It is also an extremely handy tool for signal analysis, safety evaluation and can be used in conjunction with near field sniffer probes, E&H Field Antenna, Current Probes and more for investigatory work.
Some of the additional functionalities of the Narda IDA-3106 include:
- Extremely fast sweep time at 12 GHz/s.
- Real-time bandwidth of up to 32 MHz for intercepting short term signals.
- Direction Finding Mode with automatic azimuth determination.
- Embedded GPS receiver and electronic compass for easy emitter location.
- SmartDF manages triangulation results and automatically calculates emitter positions.
- A 1/4inch UNC thread allows the SRM-3006 to be mounted on to a variety of tripids / stands.
